Directions: From I-20, take exit 86 and travel south on Hwy 167. Turn left at Alabama and travel two blocks to Bonner. Continue to back of church and enter Fellowship Hall through back entrance.
Each Thursday evening, rehearsals begin with physical and vocal warmups at 6:00 p.m., then move on to sectional work or begin working on current songs. In sectionals, each section retreats to various locations to “fine tune” and work on trouble spots. The majority of reh
earsal time is spent on the risers, perfecting selected songs. After rehearsal, there is time for announcements, recognitions, and other details. We often sing Happy Birthday to one of the ladies’ family members, or pray for those who are in need of prayer and support. Each rehearsal ends with everyone in a large circle, where we hold hands and sing our theme song, “Harmonize the World.” Rehearsal is a time for hard work, but also a time of fellowship and sisterhood. What a wonderful “therapy group” for those who’ve had a long week or need some support! We truly are Girlfriends in Harmony!
